	The Fortress of Himring Himring was a hill in the northeast of Beleriand, on which was the fortress of Maedhros, eldest of the Sons of Fëanor. Because of it's situation, being built into the mountains of Himring, it was hard to defeat, and so safe.	0	0	No posts have been made on this board.

Himring

The March of Maedhros was the northeastern borderlands of Beleriand, and the least defensible. They were held by the Sons of Fëanor under the general captaincy of Maedhros on Himring. Himring was a hill in the northeast of Beleriand, on which was the fortress of Maedhros, eldest of the Sons of Fëanor. This fortress is one of the few that could not be taken in his attack in Dagor Bragollach.
